Asymmetric Allylic Substitution

CPS-Chirotech has an exclusive worldwide license from Stanford University for the Trost palladium- and molybdenum-based catalysts for asymmetric allylic alkylation reactions. These carbon-heteroatom and carbon-carbon bond-forming technologies allow the construction of complex structural features.

Asymmetric allylic alkylation is a truly enabling methodology, allowing a plethora of chiral molecules to be synthesized. CPS-Chirotech has developed many processes to useful synthetic intermediates utilizing the Trost technology. Examples includes routes to vinylglycinol, 2-aminotetralins, 3-buten-1,2-diol, Calanolide A, 2-cyclohexenylamine and quaternary amino acids.
